Another recent buy.

Another recent buy, but bought by my mum this time. It's a pair of light coloured beige brogue with decorative detail around the toe. At first I wasn't too keen on them, but now I do like them. In this image I am wearing them with my second favourite pair of Thejeans; from Topshop!

In this image I've added a few accessories which is just a rough idea of what you can wear with new brogues. A vintage style owl ring, 'cup and tea pot' necklace, cream hair flower from River Island (last season), denim hot pants, & an off-white cable knit boyfriend cardigan.

In this image I have just focused on a few key accessories with these brogues. Some of which you have seen in the previous image (flower clip, 'cup and tea pot' necklace, and vintage style owl ring. The ones that you haven't seen yet are this floral heart pendant, a powder pink flower ring, and just two simple pale pink pearls. OH! And how could I forget? THEE Polaroid camera. :D

Flowers!

Floral Mess.
Adding to my loving of floral print, I decided to make a polyvore of a few of my liked floral print items. And now that its spring & moving onto summer when is there a better time to wear it? OH, I hope it never goes out of fashion!:3

Nine collars..

Nine collars...
Here is the last "Nine...." post - Basically "Nine" is nine (obviously) of my favourite items this summer. So far it has been peter pan collars, shorts and brogues. Just a few of my 'this seasons' obsessions. You can probably tell that when it comes to peter pan collars; powder pink, and neutral collars are definately my favourite as they go with basically anything and are perfect for any occassion.:) The majority of this post's "nine" are from Topshop apart from two- River Island [5th one] and Net-a-porter Sandro [1st one].

Nine brogues...

9 brogues.
Here is a list of well, my top 9 brogues (there is probably more, but these were the 9 that caught my eye on polyvore) this spring/summer 2011. I'd probably have to say that I definately prefer brown brogues to any other colour; but I also like floral, neutral and powder pink. All brogues are available from, Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island, ASOS, H&M & Barrats.

Yes!

Cream Sleeveless Shirt
I am so happy right now as I have FINALLY, FINALLY purchased my peter pan collar that I have been obsessing over for the past couple of week's. Quite a reasonable price but found a salmon pink one in Topshop for £18, but it's a very odd colour and doesn't go with a lot of things. - So I decided to purchase the one I found in Miss Selfridge. It was £20 and is cream. It's lush. I will decide to post pictures of my outfit soon, but right now; I'll just show you a picture. In this image it looks VERY white, but it's a natural cream colour. (my mum is not happy with me).

Nine shorts.

9 SHORTS.Here is a list of my favourite top 9 shorts right now; created on polyvore. They go from floral, to preppy, to denim to retro to quirky; which is pretty much all you need for a cool summer. All shorts are available from: Topshop, Miss Selfridge, H&M, Jack Wills, Hollister, Superdry & House of Fraser.

Dressing room.

Neutral knits.I've always loved H&M but seeing as they now have (or probably had before; I just haven't noticed it) a 'Dressing Room' I think it's a lot better. The website has changed and the new summer collection has been released & I've never liked H&M as much before. I spent around 20 minutes creating my first look, - nothing special. Just simple neutral colours placed together on a model and browns bringing the outfit all together. Here is my first look.

Recent buy.

Petites Super Skinny Jean
With months and months of looking for a pair of non-blue jeans that fitted me or were available, I've finally bought found some. I purchased these about 5 days ago in Miss Selfridge for £37 wore them to the cinema and then was told my friend Harriet had tried these on in the fitting room and had fallen in love with them, but didn't decide to buy them. I'm a bit stuck on what to wear them with. If you have any idea please comment; I love to here you fashion views.

Shorts, shorts, shorts!

Shorts, shorts, shorts!
Summer's definately kicking in. It's been very hot over the last couple of days and the shorts are coming out! I was looking online (again), in my wardrobe & on people and found some really nice shorts. Shorts can go basically with anything. Lace ups, brogues, pumps, UGGS and also go really well with floral print. It just depends on how you wear it. Here are my top six shorts this spring + summer. The shorts below are available in:  Hollister, Topshop, Fatface, H&M, Jack Wills & Warehouse. I don't own any thing from Fatface but I came across the dark denim shorts on Polyvore and I really liked them. Another one of my favourite shorts are the Miss Selfridge Indigo High Waisted Shorts. I was unable to find them on polyvore, but if you look on the Miss Selfridge website you will be able to find them in the Petite's section. When you wear denim shorts that have that ripped look you have to make sure that they don't end up looking too trashy because they can look really classy if you add the right accessories & the right clothes.

Jewellery selection.

Yesterday, I went to Town and bought some cute jewellery which consist of flowers, floral, owl, pearls, daisies & gems. I really wanted to show you some of the things that I bought as this happens to be a "fashion blog", so I set them out in a way which you could see all of it. You may wonder why it's in a bath tub, but I received this for Christmas which included smellies; the base was polyester which makes a good place to pin earrings & rings. Also, please ignore my weird coloured nail varnish too as I'm really not sure why I painted it that bright orange. I think it's because I have a little gold bracelet with an orange gem on that I always wear (as seen in the picture above). The accessories purchased are from very reasonably priced shops (Claires accessories; which have now started to do quite nice jewellery which happen to be quite trendy and vintage like & Primark; which I have also noticed that even the most fashionable & preppy people shop there. They don't always focus on the expensive brands).

In image two it is my hand modelling the five rings purchased the other day. One vintage style owl ring, 3 floral & gem rings on the next finger & then on the thumb it is the floral ring I bought. Please note that it probably shouldn't be worn on the thumb, it's just that it doesn't fit any other finger. Or my thumb, so I had to take the picture quickly before it fell off. My hand also looks rather old and scrawny in image two. But it's not.
2) Here are the five rings purchased, vintage style owl,
flower and gem & floral print.
1) Daisie grips, lots of earrings, vintage style rings, floral
rings, classy pearl grips two wooden & gold beads.

Cable Knits.

I really like cable knits right now, even though it's fairly close to Summer. But I think cable knits (especially cardigans) can go with any outfit & can be worn in summer without getting too hot. I've been looking online and I have found 3 knit's that have really caught my eye. Theres nothing special about them, but they'll be perfect for the summer by keeping you warm & cool at the same time. The Jack Wills Cottesmore Breton Crew for £69 (Stripey) is available in two colours. The pink and white stripe & navy. Also, two Topshop ones. (One cardigan & one jumper)

TWO TONES LABELS.

TWO TONES LABELS.
TWO TONES LABELS. by vintageretro. featuring genuine leather belts

I've seen a-lot of Peter Pan Collars around recently and decided to use this one, partly because I love the colour, the look and my friend's sister owns the long sleeved version. These really nice light blue high waisted D&G shorts work really well with the light pastel colour's this outfit consist's of. The big pale ring, bangle set and two tone brogues go perfectly together as they are basically the same shade's and to finish the outfit off with expensive accessories: A Chanel handbag (to match the brogues) Abercrombie & Fitch belt to also match the cognac brown on the brogues & Ralph Lauren sunglasses to just finish the outfit off completely. PERFECT if your willing to splash your cash this summer :)

SUMMER OUTFIT!

SUMMER OUTFIT!
SUMMER OUTFIT! by vintageretro. featuring cotton short shorts

I have noticed that the baggy tee's and the high waisted shorts work quite well together and now that this season's trend is partly floral I decided to put the two together. The flaming orange nail varnish works well with the little flowers on the shorts and the big red bangles go really well with the little red ditsy earrings & the shoes? Lush!

SPRING OUTFIT.

SPRING OUTFIT.
SPRING OUTFIT. by vintageretro. featuring semi precious jewelry

I just found this website like 5 minutes ago and quickly found some things. It all happens to be that the items are all from the amazing Topshop. You may wonder why I have decided to use pale pink shoes but if you look closely the blue top has little specks of pale pink.

MISS SELFRIDGE POST.

Miss Selfridge is another one of my favourite shops and is linked to Topshop, but sorry to offend you Miss Selfridge but Topshop is definitely ahead of you! I really like the idea of Miss Selfridge and Topshop putting together outfits and selling them as one for a price. I think this is a really good idea. I love their clothes and they have some pretty lush dresses and high waisted clothing, such as Petite's High Waisted Shorts, (which I spotted for my friend's Harriet and Jess) cute little pearl rings and owl jewellery, Vintage Style Sunglasses(; and really nice bags & brogues such as, Tan Pushlock Bag and the JAY tan brogue. Miss Selfridge also do a "Vintage Style" collection which do include some nice clothes but mostly consisting of, camel colours, peach, navy and brown.

The jewellery range by Miss Selfridge called Diva I think personally is really nice and really cute. Their multi-band rings, cluster ring's and double ring's are really cool and can jazz up any outfit easily! The Floral print wood bangle I think is perfect for the Spring time as it has little fuchsia ditsy flowers on it which go perfectly with the beech coloured wood on the inside and wear it with any outfit for a splash of colour!

SUPERDRY POST.

I also decided to post about Superdry too. Superdry is probably one of my favourite High Street Brands (and it's the second cheapest; coming after Hollister) and I have the most of it. Superdry consist of less sort of girly clothing range compared to Jack Wills & Superdry is not a British make but Britain has a lot of stores. Superdry do men and a women's range from size XS which is a size eight, but most of their tee's or hoodies fit a size six. Superdry do a really good denim range consisting of baggy vintage look jeans, tight jeans, cropped jeans and even vintage ripped denim look shorts which my friend Jess purchased a while ago when we went shopping. Superdry create a "Vintage Thrift" category which is probably the best one to look at if I was to relate to this blog. (Hense the name Vintage Fantasy). The video above is a photo shoot of the clothing, which I don't know what year. (silly me). If you want to take a look at Superdry's clothing please go to www.superdry.com or www.cult.com for the new Spring/Autumn Collection.

Jack Wills Spring Term Collection 2011

I decided to move on from the big labels and move on to the little labels, more known as the "high street fashion" range, such as Jack Wills, Hollister, Superdry, Abercrombie & Fitch, Soulcal etc. I decided to post about Jack Wills: Fabulously British. Most of you will probably know of or have heard about Jack Wills but if not Jack Wills is a British make, made by Mr Wills and it's pretty famous around England and other countries too. Eg, Ireland. Jack Wills do a number of lovely pieces, whether it be gorgeous stripey or tweed blazers, amazingly soft and bold hoodies, ditsy floral print, quirky coloured chino's, a pair of cosy pj's or even if you fancy a pair of sexy wellies..Jack Wills has it. If your interested in Jack Wills range you can simply order the Jack Wills Handbook for freeeeeee and get it delivered to your door straight away, issue after issue of clothing for different seasons. A few of Jack Wills "must haves" consist of The Buttershaw Dress, Brinsworth Frill Vest and Berrow Skirt. Which all happen to be spring floral print. To get the best of Jack Wills you should try and get into the "Jack Wills outlet". The Jack Wills outlet is a website based on Jack Wills but consists of a cheaper, 10% off range and even has free delivery at times. To become a member of the JW Outlet you must register to Jack Wills, (www.jackwills.com) and then register to The JW outlet (www.jackwillsoutlet.com) and you will automatically be placed onto the Jack Wills waiting list. Soon after you will become a member of the JW outlet and get the very best of Jack Wills!

Latest Jack Wills range.

VINTAGE POST.

I'm unsure when this was taken or who it was taken by or of, but I really love this image. Partly because she looks very cool & rather in fashion right now. She has the lavender blue cable knit cardigan which is perfect for right now and are a autumn/winter must have and could be casually worn in the spring or the summer with a ditsy floral vest underneath or a plain white tee which are available in H&M for around twelve pound. Also, cognac browns [observing the bag right now] are in and can look good with anything.

Mix a cognac brown belt (see the above link for one suggestion) with simple clothes, owl jewellery and a pair of cognac brown or plain brown brogues or lace up heels then you have a pretty cool, lovely partly vintage outfit.

Loads of vintage clothing and accessories can be found in shops such as high street stores such as Topshop, River Island and Miss Selfridge & big brands such as Burberry & Moschino. If you might not like the price tag you'll definitely find a look a like or your dream belt or handbag in other shops that will be a bit cheaper but still have the exact same detail as your other loved garment!

TOPSHOP'S NEW SPRING COLLECTION.

(Topshop: Search: Floral)

I've always loved Topshop & have been inspired by their clothing range. But the release of their 2011 Spring range has caught my eye. I have never seen a floral collection that I have wanted so much since Moschino's range. Topshop have released their spring collection and it consists of ditsy, vintage style, block colours and floral patterns. These bright & vibrant colours would definitely catch my eye in a shop window or on a beautiful person walking down the street. These are a definite spring must have. You might not think you would wear these items of clothing (from Topshop's floral range) together but these items are essentials with outfits. Whether you wear them with vintage style high waisted shorts or light denim jeans, lace or even simple leggings with a twist, these will simply create a perfect spring outfit for ALL shapes and sizes.

NICKI MINAJ FT EMINEM ROMANS REVENGE.

One of my new favourite songs. Rather rude, lot's of swearing and some parts MAY offend (and y'know I didn't write any of this so no hate comments for posting, please!) So, I thought I'd let you know before you decided to uhh..listen to it.

But I really wanted to post it :D:D

BURBERRY.

I decided to say like three things about Burberry because well, I am sat here wearing a Burberry shirt & there's a very small Burberry scarf up-stairs in my room, so y'know(:         I love their designs and I fell in love with their checked range, my friend Harriet (love her) was very shocked to see that I had a Burberry bear. Pretty sad if you ask me. A bear? :L

I was also pretty interested in Burberry Prorsum and here's a link so you can see it(: http://uk.burberry.com/store/womenswear/prorsum/view-all/

KAREN MILLEN.

As I said I would be posting about Karen Millen soon, but I decided to start posting about it now. As I said in the post before my mum has always been a big fan of Karen Millen's designs and has a range of her spectacular clothing. I went on their website and they have a sale! :O & it's not that bad to be honest. Their clothes are beautiful especially their range of satin and I love how you can actually take things to the changing room and actually experiment with her designs, clothing and accessories! Here is one link of a Runway Show (That's it now! I've finished with Runways) - http://www.karenmillen.com/fcp/content/Catwalk/content and three pictures to get me going.

EMPORIO ARMANI & ALEXANDER MCQUEEN

EMPORIO ARMANI RUNWAY VIDEO:

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN RUNWAY VIDEO:

Right, I'll stop posting Runway video's around now, but here is two video's that I basically needed to post. The first video (Emporio Armani) is amazing. I have always been a big fan of their clothing and visit their website to see their new ranges quite a-lot now. My dad inspired me to take a closer look at Emporio Armani & my mum inspired me to take a closer look at Karen Millen which I should be posting about in a few days. The second video (Alexander McQueen) has some very original & extremely quirky designs but I love them and the public love them. So why not?

D&G WOMAN FASHION SHOW SUMMER 2011

Right, here is a third Runway video which I found on youtube which is eight minutes and fourty three seconds long. In the video there are a few stumbles from the models, whether it be the flowery shoes or the floors. I don't know! This one is my favourite by far, far, far. I am in love with the designs, the floral print just everything! It reminds me so much of the Secret Garden full of pretty flowers and crap and this runway is named "Garden Party" and seems to me it's an interpretation of a garden and flowers. This is amazing.

Moschino - Spring Summer 2011 Full Fashion Show

Here is a second runway video I found. It does puzzle me how you will sit and watch 9.08 minutes of fashion but here you go. It's Moschino's Spring/Summer 2011 collection which consist of quirky designs.

CHANEL RUNWAY SPRING 2011

I was searching online for different runway video's & I came across this one. One of my favourite ones. Chanel. Her designs have a certain twist and has included creams, satin and lace in her designs.

Jam packed with eye catching designs!

First post.

Right, well. I decided to create a blog partly because I love fashion and wanted to write and post about the latest trends, fashion & accessories, things that have caught my eye (and probably just other bits and bobs now and again) and because I want to be a clothes designer when I'm older. Firstly I'll post about certain designers such as Armani, D&G and Alexander McQueen & runway shows

So, here I go trying to make a blog of my own, I might fail :L.
I hope not.

Hope you take a look,
Bye(:
